Sebastian Charter Junior High School

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Sebastian Charter Junior High School - Award: 2014 recipient of the Indian River County Chamber of Commerce Industry Appreciation Award for new construction.

MBV Engineering was contracted to provide civil engineering for the 2 phase expansion of the existing 2.15 acre Sebastian Charter Junior High School site, including site design, permitting, on-site construction inspections, and construction certification for a certificate of occupancy.

Phase I included the construction of a new 16,500 SF administration/classroom building and culverting of the existing southern swale. Phase II consisted of demolition of the existing 8,444 SF building and the construction of a 3,530 SF cafeteria building, for a total building area of 20,030 SF.

This project was constructed with minimal risk or exposure to the students.
