South Seas Wastewater Treatment Facility

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

South Seas Wastewater Treatment Facility - MBV Engineering, Inc. coordinated with FDEP to obtain the South Seas WWTF operating permit, as well as, approval for the replacement of four ground storage tanks (351,000 gallons total). Our permit renewal services included preparation of the required capacity analysis report, operation, maintenance and performance report, maps, process flow schematics, and applications.

This project was located on Captiva Island in an environmentally sensitive area. In an effort to obtain the required approval for the ground storage tank replacement, we developed a temporary reuse operating protocol that provided preventative measures and emergency protocols to ensure additional reliability of the reuse system during replacement of the ground storage tanks.
