PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

MBV Engineering, Inc. entered into a continuing consulting contract with the Indian River County Department of Utility Services in 2011. Since then, we have assisted the Utility Department with obtaining the required FDEP permits for multiple water reclamation and wastewater treatment facilities throughout the County, including the ones shown above. The County's facilities range from 0.02 MGD to 4.0 MGD and operate with a variety of processes, including standard extended aeration and modified Bardenpho processes. We have also aided the Utility Department with SCADA upgrades at the South Regional Water Treatment Plant, the West Regional Wastewater Treatment Facility's Nutrient Credit Program, and the South Reverse Osmosis Plant storage tank modification, just to name a few. We are currently working with them on the Roof Repairs at the South County Water Treatment Plant and the Hobart Water Treatment Plant.
